WSSU's CLS online program is the first of its kind in North Carolina and enrolls approximately 25 students per year. The online program offers the same comprehensive curriculum as the traditional, on-campus, face-to-face program, but you take the coursework in your major completely online. Your online courses are asynchronous, designed and taught by WSSU faculty, and are enhanced by various interactive Internet-based learning applications.
Winston-Salem State University's Clinical Laboratory Science program will give you entry-level competencies in all routine areas of the clinical laboratory. When you graduate from the program, you will be equipped for a career as a practitioner in the changing environment of the clinical laboratory. The program will give you a foundation to further your education with lifelong learning or at the graduate level, and you will be prepared to take any of the clinical laboratory science national examinations.
This program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
